Hey all, I am a 23 year old English expat, currently residing in the Bay Area.
I am saving up to take a two (possibly three) month vacation throughout Europe. While I am definately not new to travelling, this is the first time I am completely alone on this venture. No help from ‘rents, nobody to plan with, etc.
I am a student and considering planning the trip through STA. Has anyone used STA? What are your opinions? I want to buy one of those Eurail flexipass tickets. I would start in Rome, work my way up through Italy (stopping in Venice, hopefully while the film festival is happening), going to France (south, then Paris), then take a long haul up to Holland (Amsterdam). I’d then hop on ship to England and finish up there.
Any suggestions, addidtions, advice?
I’m not the richest person around, which is why I want to plan through STA. And, I’m all about hostels and/or cheaper hotels.
A friend of mine works for STA and hooked me up a LOT with my upcoming trip to Paris. They can find really good deals – all my experiances with them have been great. you could also do everything they do on your own, so it’s up to you.
