‘Ello everyone. I’m not new to traveling to Europe, but I will be studying in London for a semester next year, and this is a new experience for me.
I booked the flight a few days ago with a coworker who is going to London in the same program as me, and so I have a buddy to fly with. Unfortunately, she’s staying later than I am, and so I have to fly home myself.
So here’s a few new things for me:
1) I have never been gone for 4 months, nor have I done a home stay for 4 months, so this is brand new
and
2) I have never flown ANYWHERE by myself (or even without an accompanying adult…and now, being 20 does not count ME as an adult, haha).
I have been to London before, and my mom spent a semester in London when she was my age, so I’m not very concerned about my trip to London. I will also go visit France and hopefully Belgium, because I have a friend from Belgium.
I would also like to travel to Italy, and here’s where advice would come in useful for me!
What is the best way to get to Italy from London? Train or plane? Where should I look to stay? I’m hoping that my boyfriend will study away somewhere in western Europe, so hopefully we could meet up in Italy and spend time together there. Advice? Places to go?
Okay, that’s all for me here. If anybody would like any advice about western Russia, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, England, Germany, or Greece, ask me! Those are my prior excursions to Europe, and they were great! =)
