So my Couchsurfing host in Bruges (Belgium) might not be able to host me for one of the nights we’d originally agreed on, so I’m looking for a hostel for one night…
… only problem is, reading the reviews of hostels in Bruges, they all seem kind of dodgy. I’ve tried searching through this community, since I know this has been mentioned before, but tags aren’t giving me what I need, and searching otherwise isn’t turning up anything.
So, seasoned travel veterans, what hostel in Bruges would you recommend? Most important criteria for me are: 1) Security. I’m traveling with a laptop, and I want somewhere safe to stash it, like a locker or whatever. 2) No smoking! Apparently here in Belgium (I’m currently in Brussels) you can smoke in bars, and I don’t want my room smelling like smoke.
