Two questions:
1.) My husband and I are planning another Europe trip for next year, and we’ve decided we’d like to visit Germany, but we have no idea which city. We’ve heard good things about Berlin and Munich, but we don’t know a whole lot about either of them at this point. We are interested in all kinds of things, including the culture, food, and the people, castles (I’ve heard there are some along the Rhine River), and some of the Holocaust sites. We are also open to any ideas or suggestions. Would either of these cities (Berlin or Munich) be better to visit, or is there another city we should consider? We also plan to visit Prague in the same trip, if that makes a difference with travel between the two cities.
2.) Our trip would most likely be either spring (March, April, or early May) or summer. I know that when we were in Europe the last time everything I read said to travel sometime other than summer, because summers are so crazy with all the tourists. I’m assuming that it’s probably the same this time around, but I thought I would ask on here just in case. If summer doesn’t work out, what about March, April, or early May? What is the weather like at this time and would it be a good time to visit?
So basically, our trip will at least be Prague, a city in Germany, and possibly either Ireland or Venice (kind of random, I know). We’re still in the very early stages of planning and just gathering up ideas at the moment.
