Eurail passes

Hello, all,

I’m going to be traveling through Europe by train this summer, so I’ve been considering getting a Eurail youth pass. However, I’m not clear on whether having a pass means that I get unlimited free 2nd class tickets for as long as the pass is valid or whether I just get a discount on tickets. I’ve checked the FAQ but didn’t find anything, and I contacted Eurail’s customer service but their reply wasn’t very helpful to me.

Can anyone please let me know what exactly the Eurail youth pass offers?
