Eurail discount

I’m in the process of planning a 2-3 week backpacking trip around Europe this summer, and I’ve been looking into Eurail passes.  The thing is, though, that my friends and I would like to utilize night trains several of our nights.  I can’t seem to find an answer about Eurail passes and night trains.  Do Eurail passes give you a discount on night trains, or do you still have to pay full price?  If we want to use the night trains, are Eurail passes not a good choice?
