Hi, I’m looking for cheap air fares to get me from Italy (preferably Florence or thereabouts) to Athens. Ryan Air and some others don’t seem to fly to Greece. Any suggestions of best ways to find a good fare?

fly to Athens, although unlikely from Italy, but it should be quite cheap and easy to go via the UK…
Thanks–it’s hard to find anything cheaper than Alitalia that flies Italy-Greece, I’m beginning to think.
Check Alitalia – sometimes they even have cheap-ish flights. I also have to fly from Rome to Athens this summer.
That is looking the best, so far. Thanks
AegeanAir flies from Rome and Milan to Athens.
pretty sure easyjet flies to greece, but you might have to fly out of london.
I’m flying London to Athens via Easyjet in about 6 hours, but the fare wasn’t as cheap as I would’ve liked.
Easyjet flies from Milan to Athens. Well, it’s not Florence but at least it’s in the right country
Thanks. Milan is OK, but sadly Easyjet seems to cost about the same as Alitalia. Guess there’s no really cheap way to get to Greece.
Aegean Air has an online special if you book 19 days in advance. Not sure they fly out of Florence, but definitely out of Rome. aegeanair.com
check yahoo travel, and use their farechase option. it searches about 8 different websites. you can also take a ferry there. i am also going to greece and we were going to do italy but it was very expensive. hope that helps.
